It all started with a dream. I woke up one morning in Paris, sweaty and gasping for air after a very vivid nightmare. It featured an office where employees lived and work. It was corporate, elegant and competitive, based on a building I had visited once in San Francisco, next to the Uber and Twitter headquarters. Everyone in the dream was obsessed with success and their looks. Muscles, sweat, money, moans... A boiling pot about to explode.
I got out of bed and wrote it down. Did a place like that exist? And then something clicked. It was a vision of our near future. AI is driving us there, wether we want it or not. Hundreds of millions of jobs will disappear and they won't be replaced. We are becoming obsolete, but before everyone is replaced, a few jobs will remain. Those jobs will be taken by the best and most competitive individuals of our species, and that's how Anna was born.
I wrote the plot in 2019, during daily walks around the Seine River, and finished the manuscript in 2025 in Madrid. Currently I'm looking for representation from a literary agent to publish it.
